Targeted intensive care test ordering cluster trial
Study Description
The study will include approximately 70,000 critically ill patients from 66 ICUs in Australia and New Zealand and is designed to test the hypothesis that a targeted approach to diagnostic test ordering is non-inferior to routine test ordering (a usual care approach) with respect to in-hospital mortality.
