We are pleased to announce that the SG-ANZICS Asia Pacific Intensive Care Forum is now rebranded to the Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium (APICS), brought to you by SICM and ANZICS.

APICS was launched last year as a virtual conference in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as our flagship event, SG-ANZICS, was unable to take place. The response to APICS 2020 exceeded our expectations – we garnered around 3000 international participants and received great feedback for the quality of our talks and speakers.

Moving forward, we have concerted our efforts into a single intensive care conference – the Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium (APICS). This rebranding reflects our position as the leading intensive care conference in the Asia Pacific region. APICS continues to be organised by the same intensive care societies behind SG-ANZICS – the Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Singapore (SICM) and the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS).

What to know for APICS 2021:

• The “SG-ANZICS Asia Pacific Intensive Care Forum” will now be known as the Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium “APICS by SICM X ANZICS”
• The official website will now be www.sg-apics.com
• It will be conducted virtually this year from 17 – 19 July 2021.
