A Clinical Pharmacist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Professor Roberts is a Practitioner Fellow at the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council and Interim Director of the Herston Infectious Diseases Institute (HeIDI). In his role as Director of the Centre of Research Excellence (REDUCE), Professor Roberts leads a team that aims to develop optimised antibiotic dosing regimens to improve patient outcomes and minimise the emergence of anti-biotic-resistant superbugs.
