We are excited to announce the Australian New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) Safety and Quality Conference which will be held in Novotel Melbourne on Collins from 12th – 14th September 2024.
The three-day program will include over 50 presentations, keynote speakers and panel discussions.  There will be interactive workshops on how to reduce waste in your ICU, including data analysis and reporting with the conference providing networking opportunities.


The 2024 Conference will explore information and innovative ideas on:
  • How to identify, review, and treat at-risk patients during early phases of clinical deterioration, including patient and carer escalation.
  • The role of effective communication and teamwork to prevent and reduce rates of cardiac arrest and other major adverse events.
  • How to educate and build skills and knowledge on analysing data to monitor outcomes and report on quality of care.
  • Promoting wellbeing and a safe culture in the ICU
  • Implementing, measuring and achieving a reduction in carbon emissions and minimising clinical waste in the ICU.
  • Best practices in safety and quality to improve health outcomes and services to keep patients safe from preventable harm.
