The 36th South Australian Intensive Care Fellowship Exam (Tub’s) Course will be held in Adelaide from 13-15 February 2019. It is a comprehensive 3-day course aimed at CICM trainees planning to sit the Fellowship Examination in the following 12 months.
The focus is very much on interactive and practical sessions, and it includes tutorials on the written examination, vivas and hot cases, as well as mock examinations in each of these.
Formal hot case sessions are run at 4 hospitals (Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Lyell McEwin Hospital), ensuring that each candidate will get exposure to 2 different Units. Approximately 30 Faculty are involved each year, including several from interstate.
